5,323 spectators, 411 hours of use in one afternoon, real-time rider positions and crowd analytics for the organizers.
The live spectator map for the Philadelphia Cycling Classic on Sunday, August 30 — the whole 13.85-mile circuit, every viewing spot, street closures, pass-time estimates, and live GPS on the pace car. Built from scratch in sixteen days, and engineered so the cost of serving it does not move whether fifty people open it or fifty thousand.
5,323 spectators used it on race day, across 10,856 sessions and 411 hours of attention — 62% of them arriving from a single link on the event's own homepage. It is the clearest example of what we mean by real software: live data, a route traced to the actual streets, first-party crowd measurement with a published method, an admin console, and a privacy policy we enforce in code.
